After 2 and a half weeks of not hearing anything from Gareth, Jo and the team we all wait anxiously for a sign they have made it across the DMZ into South Korea. Finally a very short message from Gareth’s cell phone at 10.21pm on the 29th of August: South side of the DMZ amidst a media frenzy. All well, incredible experience. All for now. Gareth and Jo. A couple of hectic hours later after talking to reporters from all over the Globe we get our chance to talk to them.
Here’s some photos of us saying goodbye to our friends in the North & traversing across enemy lines – very emotional, a world first.
