People of the Silk Road

Just a couple of boys looking at the world go by

Map of the ambitious Silk Road Project that aims to recreate the historic links

Want some bread from my barrow?

Boy Racers here too. Love the souped up Lada lads

Oh that engine - such wonderfully futuristic technology

C'mon Michael, dump that Honda of yours real boy racers like Ladas

A pothole to contemplate - very common in the streets of Central Asia

Which one of these just landed fresh from Mt Manganui beach

No boy, you can't have her

A scene of typical Silkr Road hardship

Ladies lined up waiting for their transport out to the collective farm

Water in abundance for this desert farm

Happy in his work

Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your rooftop grow

Queen St farmers

Quick guys, the lights are green now

She can bake my bread any day

Roadside honey glistening in the sunrise

A bit of urgent roadsie maintenance while Jo rests up after her argument with a manhole cover

Sorry our engineering team can't fix this one - time to transport it into town
