Windhoek

We rolled into Windhoek, capital of Namibia, dusty and dry after 4 days of dirt roads. The reason for our call was primarily to check on Brendan and his bike, both of which left the group via truck and aircraft respectively, due to his suspected head gasket trouble.

The good news is that a replacement thermostat and radiator cap are all that’s required. So tomorrow we’re back on the road heading east now across the top of Kalahari to the Okavango delta and we’re assured, a delta experience never to forget. It’ll take a couple of days to get there so here’s hoping. But we’ve loved Namibia and would come back to ride these desert roads anytime.
