Having come back into the US legally, by riding our bikes through the border crossing at Ojinaga/Presidio, we felt as we rode east along the Rio Graqnde towards Big Bend National Park, that we just had to take the piss. So off with the gears – in these temperatures we don’t need much persuading – and plunging into the Rio Grande we struck out for Mexico. We did like the place quite a lot so a momentary return was tempting. Then, butt naked but a river’s width frm our motorcycles, we plunged back in and swam into the USA.
I guess that makes us illegal immigrants now.
