Back on the Latin continent and at just 14 degrees south. Muggy and the rainy season is breaking out – ideal conditions for another motorbike ride. Oh well it’ll only get more wet as we head north to the Amazon. Just a 2 rider team this time – Jo and Kemo Sabe. Wildlife abounds already – check out the first blush in the bushes to the left. Tomorrow we’re bound for Luis Eduardo de Magalhaes in West Bahia – centre of the soybean cropping juggernaut that this part of Brazil hosts. Funny to come from a soft NZ economy to this seeming recession-proof Brazilian economy – the Australia of South America with one big difference – these dudes have got water.
